Set(s) of 12 mats feature 6 different emotions plus text in English, Spanish, and Mandarin - perfect for a culturally diverse classroom. Each mat has a real-life photo of a child expressing an emotion, plus a simple illustration for kids to re-create the emotion shown in modeling dough. Mats are 9" x 6," made of thick laminated paper, easy to wipe clean for multiple uses.
- CREATE AND COMPLETE. Kids will love creating modeling dough pieces to complete each picture. Each mat features a true-life photo of a child expressing an emotion, and a simple drawing missing facial features. Kids add the facial features to show the emotions in the photo.
- SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL LEARNING. Mats are designed to help kids identify emotions, then exercise their creativity as they re-create that emotion with modeling dough. Two each of six different enotions - happy, sad, surprised, embarrassed, angry, and scared - gives kids extra practice at reading facial cues.

It's a great social-emotional tool to help kids learn how to identify and name emotions. I love the real life pictures on it. That makes it more practical and hands-on for the kids. I also love the diverse pictures of kids. This is a great fine motor tool to practice rolling, pinching and stretching play doh with it
