Pre-sharpened pencils come 12 brilliant colors, 4 each.: black, blue, brown, burgundy, green, light blue, light green, orange, pink, red, yellow, and violet. Each pencil has 1/4 inch thick colored graphite in the center for long-lasting coloring fun! Pencils measure 3 1/4 inch long x 3/8 inch diameter.

Great inexpensive way to get a class set of color pencils for Kindergarten, afraid they are a little too stubby/short and wondering how many times they can be sharpened before they become unusable.

I was very excited about the Chubby pencils for my 4 year old class, however I found them to be of poor quality. While the color was great, many of them were broken when they arrived or broke very quickly after the students started to use them.

please check the size of the pencils, they are really small, most probably you can sharpen it twice!!!!!!

Chubby pencils are a fantastic tool for little hands but to be able to provide pencils in color is great. The children love having an option of what color they will practice writing with. They also use them for art activities for drawing. Some parents prefer the pencils versus markers for their little ones, 24mo.+, until the child is able to control their motor skills, less mess!
