Wire Very Thin

I was going to use these pipe cleaners as the nose wire in handmade cloth face masks. However, the wire is not thick enough to offer any support. Unfortunately, I ordered 2000 of these, so now I have 2000 that I can't use. Disappointed. I probably will be donating these to a child care or a church children's program as they are of no use to me now.
