I am currently using these to help me draw shapes to then fill with buttons making fun pieces of art. When my daughter is old enough she'll use these for her art projects too! They look great on 8x8 or 8x10 canvases so they'd be perfect for regular paper as well. Wish they made even more this size.

I think these are really nice stencils, I liked them because they were very big - nearly as big as a full sheet of paper - and the shapes were "fun", a variety of animals, vehicles and trees/flowers. The only one issue was they are mostly pre-cut, but you have to punch out all the shapes the rest of the way which was time consuming and a little tricky for the smaller pieces. I ripped the Teddy Bear one, even though I was trying to be careful.

Fun shapes for the creative mind ...

Love the large clean, fun shapes from sturdy plastic. Draw a stencil on your tee shirt and color it with fabric markers/crayons. Or on plain fabric to which you will add a fun fabric backing. Sew the two layers together leaving a small opening to insert stuffing after you have cut round the sewn design. Make a paper weaving. Then cut your stencil shape from a paper of your choice and glue it over your paper weaving.

I thought these were very good for K graders and up. Preschool didn't seem to want to take the time. Obviously! We traced out pictures for the pre-k to color with chalk or paint. Either way they are nice additions to the craft area.

Stencils for younger set

Nice and easy to use but the definitely for the younger set in mind. I purchased for kids 6-7 years of age but they could pretty much draw these freehand. These stencils are for 3-5 year olds. They are larger and easy for small hands to hold and maneuver around. Good quality plastic and easy to wash.
- Pros
- Ease of Use
- Washability
