Good loom for the price!
It works best if you wrap the yarn around the back that way you can cut the strings in the back and tie knots to make fringe on your weaving. They worked great from little kids up to adults. Only draw back is they do not contain a shuttle to hold the string. But we made those at the site. The TH...JHA (Tar Heel Jr. Historians) tried them out last week and loved them. Wanted to know if we could get more so they could each have one. We will use them on site to work with area school children. They will be used as demo's on site as well as part of the fiber trunk to go out to area schools.

Allows for a child to work on a weave over extended period
Well made but would like them to be shorter for younger children

I am a weaver and a teacher. One of the members of our weaving guild used these looms for our group. They worked great. I will be teaching a group of adults and because of the reasonable price and the way these looms are constructed, I just bought 36 of them (3 packages).

The looms are well made, easy to use and the final product is beautiful. Unlike cardboard which bends and rips they let the weaver apply tension and come up with a lovely small piece. I used them in a mix aged group and small fingers, old fingers and large fingers could all enjoy working on them.
