Great birthday activity!!!
I love this product! I purchased along with the tambourine kit for my 4 year old birthday party and kids and adults loved them both. I just purchased them again for my 1st grader classroom activity. The only reason why I don't give this product 5 stars is because this second time I noticed that the...y changed the material that you insert to make the rain sound. I think the previous one works (sounds) much better! However, your kids will love this product. Previous material: Beads New material: Plastic little balls (Pet maybe)

Fun Craft!
The kids (ages 5-10) had fun making the rain sticks and were easy enough for the young ones to do alone, but the dull sound is disappointing if you've ever heard a real rain stick.

Good for the money, however, the rubber bands that hold the ends should be much thicker to ensure they do not break of slip off easily. You may want to glue the ends with foam glue to ensure the beads inside do not wind up on your floor...especially if you have a little body at home who likes to put things in their mouth.
