Fun Craft!
The kids (ages 5-10) had fun making the rain sticks and were easy enough for the young ones to do alone, but the dull sound is disappointing if you've ever heard a real rain stick.

Very sturdy tube and easy to assemble! The students love them. We didn't use the sticker decorations because we were specifically learning about Aboriginal art...signs and symbols...so we drew and colored our own designs.

I used this for VBS and they turned out great! We painted them one day, filled them the next, and decorated them on the final day. Three year-olds through first graders all were able to complete this project mostly on their own. Even our middle school helpers found them intriguing enough to want to make them too!

A little advanced for a 3 yo boy but perfect for a 4 yo girl. She had a blast and got a kick out of how it can sound like rain when she knows what went into it. The 3 yo was a little anxious and wouldn't let anyone help him. It got done eventually but that's okay, he really had fun putting his stickers on when it was all together. All in all it is a great product if you want a rainmaker.
