Excellent Project !
In my Junior Girl Scout troop, we had a few girls who wanted to make Dreamcatchers. The girls are 9 or 10 years old. I thought we would all lace at the same time, step by step, according to the well written directions. But they got SO excited that they laced their own way -for really nice free-f...orm results ! An AMAZING (unexpected) bonus: all of the yarn laces had shoelace tips. The feathers were lovely and brightly colored. The beads were fairly common pony bead style. The girls were pleased with the large size of the finished Dreamcatchers !!!!! The only down-side was that the colored cardboard rings were a little lightweight and bent easily :-( We paired this project with a small discussion about the Chippewa Tribe that originated this form of art.

Cute Little Craft
It was fine for a craft, to get the skill of learning to make a dreamcatcher, but don't expect it to be good quality and last. Just a fun project. It's cardboard paper for the circle and yarn for the string. Includes feathers and beads.

I needed an ornament idea for our Indian Princess Christmas tree. This fit my plan perfectly. Girls as young as first grade did it with ease with some knot tying help from dad. Minor correction needed to directions - every 7 holes, not 6. I will definitely check here again for my next craft idea.
Very Cool Project ^_^

I used this project for my Summer History Day Camp program, and the kids loved it!! Really easy to do, and the kids loved making their own design in the dream catchers. Though a couple kids were frustrated at the beginning, they all loved it in the end!

We use this product to enhance our Native American studies. The third-graders are able to handle this craft with minimal direction. They look beautiful when finished.
