These do turn out adorable and one can be very creative with different ideas. However, we had wanted to use this in a preschool classroom discussing bad dreams, fears, etc. and it seemed somewhat difficult for them.This would be great for an older grade.

The pieces required glue instead of the peel and stick. It created a mess. Regular glue stick was not strong enough to hold the pieces in place which created frustration for children.

All my 2, 3, and 4 years old students had lots of fun creating their monsters. I liked that the parts weren't cut out, but perforated - it made storing unused parts easier, adn gave us a lot of extra colorful foam scraps to use for different projects.

Bought for a 6th year boys party. I highly recommend glue dots. We used tacky glue and although it was fun and the kids had a great time choosing how to decorate thier monsters, it was a messy project.

This kit was great for a mixed age group (K-5) of day campers! It allowed the kids to get creative and they could mostly do it all on their own. The pieces all come in flat foam sheets that need to be punched out, but the kids loved helping with that too! There were a TON of extra body parts, so more bodies would have been nice. Additional supplies: school glue (for construction), glitter glue (for additional decorating options)
