Wonderful Tambourines!
I bought these tambourines to make with my women's spirituality group. We had a blast making them! We used paper, stamps, watercolors, acrylic paints and markers. They turned out beautifully. The materials (string, bells, tambourines) were all high-quality and seem like they will last. I also did... the project with my two kids (ages 6 and 2) and both could do it on their own level. My six-year old gave the tambourine to a friend as a birthday gift--such a lovely homemade gift!

String the bells with something else!
Product was sturdy enough for young 3 year olds to color. Needed to be 8 years old or older to string them. Strings were plastic and did not tie at all. Good if all you wanted them to do was to decorate them.

Purchased these tambourines as an activity for our children's choir, ages 4 yr olds - 5th grade. The kids really enjoyed making them. They are a nice size for the kids to hold on to. They will be using them for our Jingle Bell song in their Christmas program in December.

Had children decorate these for my daughters 3rd birthday party and they were a hit. After the kids decorated them we had a dance party & shook the tambourines. Each child then brought tambourine home with them as a part of their goodie bag.

Kids loved their Tambourines

Bought these for our 2 - 4 year olds in VBS. The kids decorated them with a Jesus Loves Me Sticker and small glitter foam crosses and musical note stickers and washable markers. We warned the parents to watch the small bells with the little ones. We strung all the bells ahead of time and just let them decorate them. They were pretty cute but the kids liked coloring with the markers so some were a little messy but that's okay for 2 - 4 year olds. They loved shaking the bells. I did not have any problems with the cord that comes with them or stringing the bells on them. I actually put a drop of glue on the inside where each bell was and also a drop on the end knot. I just felt like that would help the cord be a little sturdier.

I used this tamborine craft for my little girls bible study class. It was very easy for 3-5th grade girls. It was somewhat hard for the 1-2 grade class, but they enjoyed it with help. Everyone enjoyed coloring them with either crayons or markers. Foam stickers also stuck well to this product.
