We bought this sand with several packs of art sand containers for 12 year olds to do sand art at an outdoor birthday party. It was great. These are pretty big/full jars so you really can't hand them over to kids to use as is. I transfered the sand into the skinny-tipped squeeze bottles available from Discount School Supply. It was a great pairing and the kids made something cool to take home.
