Cubes are well made but smaller than expected. About the size of a large pea! Works well with the lacing cords because has hard plastic tip at end. Used with kindergarten class to make a necklace spelling their name in blocks.

I have bought these 6 years in a row for a school fair. Each year my collection of consonants grow. Please, please make a pack of just vowels!!! Other than that, they are fine for the purpose, kids use them to make personalized bracelets. They are not that small, kindergarteners are able to use. They aren't great quality but they are biodegradable, and given that so much of this stuff ends up in a land fill, I think it's ok. Next, make them out of something biodegradable that isn't wood. :)

Each year we sponsor a name bracelet making station at a Week of the Young Child event. Our station is always very busy until closing time. Beads work well with pipe cleaners for easy bracelet stringing and closure. Only con is that every year we run out of vowels even though we buy an extra package of letters.
