My children loved to decorate these mask
I used the product for a children around the world celebration. We made masks from Africa. We used sand, tissue paper, feathers and sequins. When asked what part of the day the children liked best. The masks won.

For the price these are good. Consider though that the eye holes are a bit small (appropriate for up to grade 3 but likely not much older). SO many ways to decorate!
I have a babysitting service in Napa,CA, and am always looking for the best way to spend my money on projects to bring for hotel babysitting. These masks are a hit with EVERY child, boy or girl. I wish I could download the pict's of some of them on this site! One 5 year old girl spent 4 hours off and on decorating hers meticulously! She was so proud of the outcome. This is a tried and true thing to do with kids. Love it - and the price - unbeatable.

Our 8 yr olds thru teens are using permanent markers to decorate these plastic masks. They'll staple on feathers too. (Be sure the smooth side of staple is aglainst their face!) The younger kids will do well with the cardboard style because it's easier for gluing. If you use glue on the plastic masks, as they flex, sometimes the gems/jewels pop off. Halloween is coming-plan ahead!
