an activity for preschoolers:
Create craft stick rafts and then test them. Will yours sink or float?
before you begin:
Provide enough craft sticks and glue for each child to complete a raft. You'll also want to have a water table and counters available for the second part of the activity.
activity goals:
To practice counting and one-to-one correspondence while making observations about sinking, floating and weight.
