I love using these blocks for our light table in my pre-k classroom. Sometimes I set up learning activities and other times I allow my students to choose an activity to do on the light table. When they get to pick, these blocks are one of their top choices! I definitely recommend for classrooms. This is an incentivized review.

In the 1980's similar blocks were sold at Create and Barrel but for storage. They came in sizes from one inch square to three inch square and rectangles included included. The colors were limited. I bought a ton of them for an art project. The sculpture only lived for thirty years before being destroyed during one of many moves. I could not find the blocks again until I found these. They don't open but that is fine. They are extremely durable and light-weight. These are awesome especially when arranged on a light table or when a completed sculpture is displayed in front of a window!
