Great for open-ended arts and crafts, and just exploring. I loved my Great Aunt's button collection as a child, and these bring as much enjoyment to my preschoolers.
Too expensive for the quality

I have ordered these buttons several times over the last few years. The price has gone up $6.00 per bag, just since the last time I ordered...very shocked at that. Bags had same selection in each bag instead of a vast assortment like usual. While I have always had quite a bit of broken ones, I guess I expected better quality with such a tremendous price increase, so I was extremely disappointed to have to throw so many away.

We used buttons to represent a rainforest tree when studying Brazil. We used a glue stick on a square paper plate so the tree looked like it was in a frame. Very inexpensive craft.
