Great Bargain - lasting value
I have 4 grandsons living with me. Aged 12, 5, 4, & 3. I could not keep up with paper needs buying regular sized packs. This item was great and at a great price. Now I don't have to worry if they 'waste' paper. And the 12 year old loved\s the bigger size, so he has room for 'real battle scenes'...

Very thin paper
I bought this paper hoping to use it for painting and other wet-type(glue)art projects with our easel. Not what I expected

Used paper for painting and its a little thin so the paint seeps through. Had to use several sheets so paint wouldnt seep through onto the easel. Toddlers using pencils will tear the paper easily. Crayons work on it pretty well. I was expecting white paper but its the recycled color, that grayish color. But there was a lot more paper in the pack than I expected. Also the wrapper the paper comes in is very thin & flimsy and the sides both ripped open when trying to get the top open so now I cant store it in its wrapper.

We clean our bird cages every morning, Using newspaper was expensive and dirty to use. 500-sheets of newsprint is cleaner, better looking and easier to use. Costs less than newspaper. 500-sheets lasts quite a long time.

You apparently changed vendors for newsprint. The former product purchased several years ago tore easily and in a predictable manner, the current one does not. Since I use it both whole and torn down the middle, that is important to me. Also, I like the packaging better before - each bundle of 5 pkgs of newsprint were in their own box. However, these are not high enough in importance for me to look elsewhere since it is difficult to find the right quantity and the right price.

This is an inexpensive paper for those little artists who want to paint and paint and paint. They can keep slapping on the color without breaking the bank. This is not for "keepsake" quality work but more for the art student who is really into quantity.
