String the bells with something else!
Product was sturdy enough for young 3 year olds to color. Needed to be 8 years old or older to string them. Strings were plastic and did not tie at all. Good if all you wanted them to do was to decorate them.

I used the tambourine kit with a group of young people, 4 to 9 years old. We decorated ours primarily with markers. I knotted the yarn and with some assistance they threaded the bells and yarn. I definetly recommend this product. I painted them ahead of time so they would be nice and bright then I hosted a toddler art date. The kids used markers and stickers to decorate these then we moms laced on the bells. The kids LOVED these. I'll buy these again next summer.
