Bought to use as a classroom year-end project. Students had fun decorating their squares but the overall effect was terrible. The squares are not squared-off so appear twisted, the seams were not straight making it look awkward, the loops & buttons barely line up creating gaps in some areas and overlapping in other areas, when assembled edges crossed onto and overlapped, and the fabric feels like paper. Very disappointing and would not recommend.

We decorated this quilt at my children's birthday party. Each child got a square and was able to paint whatever they wanted on it. It was super easy to put together. The kids loved seeing the project that they all worked on together. THe quality of the quilt is kind of cheap but the project was a big hit with the kids anyway. It is also very easy to fold up and store for my children to have as a keepsake.

Instead of store-bought gifts, my children create a quilt square for my birthday, Mother's Day, and Christmas. These squares store easily and I'll be able to cherish them forever. Eventually I may sew them together into an actual quilt, but right now they're buttoned together into a colorful wall hanging. We have found that fine and medium point permanent markers make it easiest to draw pictures. They also sign and date the squares, which is very important for future reference.
