I'm a teacher but actually bought these for my 15-pound miniature schnauzer puppy. She's having fun going "under" and "over" -- and I think the colors are cheery for her! (I haven't had it long enough to know how well it will last over time...)

I use it with young children over to step over at different levels. One stick is really low, another stick is medium high, and a third stick is higher. So they challenge themselves to bring their legs up and over. Can also use the cones separately in an obstacle course.

the best hurdles I have found for preschool. the holes in the cones are great as they hold the rods securely and can easily be adjusted to different levels. At the same time they are safe because they tip over easily if the child cannnot get foot over them.

pre-drilled holes allowed me to buy pvc pipe poles at hardware store to use for 3 individual dog training agility jumps-- works perfectly at a very reasonable price.
