What fun!
The singing marble run was so exciting for the children to see & hear. We used it in cooporation with the 5 senses and it was fun to look at and listen to. The different size marbles made it interesting and the children had to be responsible not to lose any of the special wooden marbles. It is my fa...vorite purchases this year.

Not what I expected
From the description I thought the tree was made of metal, like a xylophone, and would make nice soothing tones, like a wind chime. It is made of wood and although the kids are having fun with it, once in awhile, it sounds kind of plunky and dull. A few of the lower leaves came off right when we g...ot it out of the box and need to be re-glued and apparently it got knocked over and the whole base fell apart. I originally thought this would be a nice novelty to have around the house, even when the kids got older (they are 5 and 7 now), but not so much anymore.

All of the children enjoy the singing tree. I'm giving 5 stars because it is a unique activity. However, I did glue the "petals" to the base because they do not stay in place well.

Kids love the melodic tune it makes as the balls rolls down.
Time consuming to assemble. Must be glued together perfectly

I purchased this as a learning tool for lessons about sense of sound and gravity/motion/speed (early physics) to preschoolers. This was one of my more expensive tools and I need 2 identical. Because of the price tag I shopped around and decided to go with Discount School Supply because they offered free shipping. I was surprised and dissappointed that the item did not come pre-assembled. It seemed to indicate that it was ready to go in the web catalogue description..which was why I paid more for this vs. some of the other options out there. It is difficult and time consuming to assemble perfectly and then hot glue gun the individual petals in place. If you are off on placement, the marbles get stuck. However, I must admit, once the work is done and the piece is assembled properly/correctly it is an amazing and mesmerizing toy. Adults, teens and my preschoolers absolutely love it. Approx. 10"x10"x 29" and very sturdy , once assembled.

Fun and engaging, we have enjoyed this singing tree marble run. At first, the children were very frustrated at the petals falling out very easily. Since then, we have wood glued to help them stay in place. Still sounds the same and is more functional for 3-4 year olds that way. #sweepstakes

This arrived with leaves separate where you have to assemble it. One of my teachers put it together and then the kids tried it out. All the leaves just fall off. Not a good thing for a preschool classroom, where kids touch! I am confused because both here and on other sites, it seems that these arrive with leaves glued in place, which would make more sense. Is there a manufacturing issue???? This ended up spending all of five minutes in our classroom and has since bee in storage. I now sit with it here at my house with a bottle of gorilla glue. Wish me luck!!!!

My kids were so excited to get this marble tree. However, the slots are way too big for the leaves/ petals, and they just fall out constantly, resulting in crying and me having to put it back together every five minutes. I don't see how this is suitable for a classroom full of children when my two knock it apart just trying to play with it within five minutes. After only playing with it twice, it's packed away in a closet until we find the time to glue the whole thing together. I expected a much better product for the price
Would recommend.

The quality of this marble run is great. I was debating between this one and the Grimm's version, which is more expensive. I'm glad I went with Excellerations because the Grimm's is all held up on a thin looking dowel rod, but this one is on a much sturdier piece of wood. We have been experimenting with glass marbles, bells, and other small balls. My kids like to switch the leaves around too. "sweepstakes

Purchased this as a birthday gift for my 3year old. It really sounds beautiful and she and her 8 year old sister both really enjoy playing with it. The only thing I dislike is that the leaves aren't fixed. It makes the tree pretty delicate; like you can't bump it or have a little one around it or the leaves fall off and have to be readjusted. That is kind of a bummer. I think it's a bit overpriced, but still a pretty fun toy.
I would buy this again 100%
