I actually bought this product for the frogs on the log, but also enjoyed the other puppets that came. I had made my own model, but it broke awhile back because I made it out of cheap materials. The children enjoy playing with this. It's a great way to reinforce counting.

The five little speckled frogs puppet is great, and the 4 ladybugs and the 3 birds is doable, but once you get down to the 2 penguins and the 1 flower, it is no longer useful. I have thought of making 4 more flowers, and 3 more penguins and attaching them to the individual gloves to make them useful. The usage suggestions given are not appealing to me.

These hand puppets have a glove insert, so the figures are easy to control. They are marketed as "number puppets", but they are probably even better used for story telling. Very cute and seem to be of a good quality. We are going to order additional sets for our older infant rooms.

I love these puppets! They are so cute. I have used the 3 birds in a nest one to retell _There is a Bird on My Head_ by Mo Willems, and will be using the others soon. I lost the booklet that came with these puppets so I emailed Discount School Supply and they sent me another! Thanks for the great customer service!
