Good fun with a caution

We used this as a VBS craft, allowing children to fill the hearts with gems, ribbons, shells, fabric, tulle, etc. to talk about God looking at what is beautiful INSIDE our hearts. It was a perfect object lesson, and the 7-10 year old kids really enjoyed the craft! The only downside was the difficulty of putting together the hearts. Even the adults had a very hard time getting the two sides of a heart to snap together! We did get all but one (out of 48) to work though.

My students were using the hearts for Valentine's Day. We used the Bio-Paint to create a variety of designs and colors; however the halfs would not click together I had to glue the halfs together to make them stick. But the project itself came out wonderful and the kids really enjoyed themselves.
